| 内容記述 | In recent years, school biotopes have attracted much attention as a place that provides students with an intimate experience of nature. This study aims to clarify the possibility of using school biotopes as teaching materials for butterfly breeding activity in early childhood and elementary education. In this survey, pale clouded yellow (Colias erate) and old-world swallowtail (Papilio machaon) were used for breeding experiments. The results showed that breeding butterflies is possible in kindergartens and elementary schools. Breeding butterflies in school biotopes fosters an attitude among children that respects life and contributes to the conservation of the natural environment. | |||||||
