This study aims to clarify the possibility of using school biotopes as teaching materials for butterfly breeding activity in early childhood and elementary education. In this survey, pale clouded yellow (Colias erate) and old-world swallowtail (Papilio machaon) were used for breeding experiments. The results showed that breeding butterflies is possible in kindergartens and elementary schools.
