| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate joint kinetics of an overarm throwing motionin skilled elementary schoolgirls. The participants included 51 girls from the second, fourth,and sixth grades. The throwing motion of each girl was videotaped using three high-speedcameras. Seven skilled girls from each grade were selected based on throwing distance forthree-dimensional motion analysis. Joint angles, angular velocities, forces, torques, andtorque powers were calculated from reconstructed three-dimensional coordinate data usingthe inverse dynamics method. Throwing distance and ball velocity significantly increasedwith school grade. Peak angular velocity, peak torque and positive peak torque power ofelbow extension were larger in the fourth and sixth graders than the second graders. Thepeak torque of shoulder internal rotation tended to increase with school grade. Whenteaching the overarm throw, elementary school teachers should observe the rapidness ofelbow extension and keep in mind that young children, such as second graders, will beunable to effectively utilize shoulder internal/external rotation. | |||||||
