| 内容記述 | We interviewed a young woman with ADHD who had practiced ascetics at a Zen temple.The training experience lasted for six days, during which the participant lived in a groupwith other practitioners according to the Zen temple etiquette, practiced zazen for 4 to 10hours a day, and performed farm work for 8 hours a day. During zazen, the participantsuppressed her impulsivity and improved her ability to control attention, In addition, aftercompleting the practice, in her daily life, the participant became more active in herhousehold chores and university assignments. These changes are assumed to have involvedthe generalization of the methods of coping with“ wondering thoughts” required by zazento all aspects of life and the adaptation to normative behavior through group life. | |||||||
